Endless Summer
Barb & Marty to Halifax - June 16
Hey everyone - we last left you raining cats and dogs and in the Lloydminster movie house. Well miracles do happen and when we came out of Indy's adventures it had stopped raining and the wind was just honking in the right direction so at 4:18 pm we left and went 55 km to Maidstone in 2 hrs and 20 minutes - it was an incredible ride - so nice when you don't have to work for it ( for once)
I got very hungry just outside Maidstone and one of Rhonda's care package Nutribars saved the day - I was shoving it in my mouth like one of those people on Survivor when they finally get food - very pretty.
Maidstone is a lovely Town just 1300 or so tidy homes hopistal and school - Cindy and Barb - please tell Munro. It's flat though, but lots of big trees. And best of all - they had Pizza at Lou's & Sue's.
Nice campground right in town.
Another miracle it didn't rain last night and we actually packed up a dry tent this am.
We've made it to North Battelford and this marks 1/4 of the entire way. So it's a big day!
I did take my measurements again yesterday at the border and since we crossed it so fast I didn't think there would be a change, but lo and behold here we go:
Calf - smaller 1/2 inch - back to where I started but they have big muscles.
thigh - same as last time
butt - Smaller again by 1/2 inch ( 1 1/2 inches smaller total)
waist - Smaller by 1" ( 1 1/2 inches smaller total)
Bust - 1/2 inch smaller again ( total 2 inches
arm - 1/2 inch smaller ( total 1 inch of that flappy wing stuff gone gone gone!)
I got word from the sisters that Nana is at home now - so that is good news!
Love to all
