Paragliding

A paraglider executing a steep spiral diveThe Fastest Growing Aviation Sport. Fun to Learn with Your Friends.

Paragliding, also known as Parapente, was developed around 1985, and despite it’s relative youth has a huge following worldwide. Paragliding appeals to hikers and mountain climbers, as paragliders are lightweight, can be carried in a backpack, and can be made instantly ready for the flight down the mountain at the end of the day. It also appeals to the serious pilots, because like a sailplane or hang glider you can ride thermal currents and stay airborne indefinitely.

Of all the aviation sports, paragliding is the easiest to learn. Unlike any other aeroplane, even when all the controls are released it still flies.

Muller Windsports has been instructing Hang Gliding since 1973 and Paragliding since 1987. Our Instructors are certified by the Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada (HPAC) and are anxious to help you from your first experience with the sport right through to your mountain and advanced maneuver flights.
